SHOP GIRL

Another day at mi-casa-su-casa. It was a lazy Thursday after we celebrated the party of Indonesian democracy. With my purple pinkie, I became a shop girl in my own shop. Pretty fun because some of my friends were there, Hello...Dien, Mira, and Laila...thanks for coming!:)

mi-casa-su-casa

After the photo shoot (from the story below) I went to my shop (mi-casa-su-casa) and stayed there for a while. It was a nice evening since I could re-arranged the lay out and checked here and there, this and that. Well, I kinda missing my shop since I was pretty hectic with my job. But then again, I love being there and meet new costumers, and hopefully I will see you there...

WACKO FREAKO

Beyond all of the awkwardness... I think this sunnies that I bought from a costume shop in Marais is the wackiest. It has a weird structure and a bit look-a-like thunder, but I think it could be a perfect weapon for the next craziest party.

CLICK IT ONE MORE TIME

Just like Aaron (the previous story), I met Jacopo Manfren during my Milano trip. He's a professional photographer, with his talent for fashion photography he captured 3 fashion spreads for our magazine. He has an interesting eye for capturing beautiful images, yet.. he's so unique with slides/film as his weapon. With his sense of perfection and his passion for genuine art, please don't forget to catch his artwork on our upcoming Harper's Bazaar Indonesia (May'09 edition). Don't miss it!

(Here are some of his incredible artworks, two thumbs up!)

SUPER TALENTED

I just bought some trinkets for my future custom jewelries, and somewhere somehow it reminds me of someone. Someone that actually has massive talents for art. His name is Aaron Henrikson, he's a professional makeup artist, and he's one of the Pat McGrath team at the moment and some other top makeup gurus. He worked for us (Harper's Bazaar Indonesia) as a contributor on our previous Milan trip. He's adorable and full of life, he taught me many things, but the thing that I won't forget was the D.I.Y. thingy. He's so creative, inventing new stuff from old stuff. He bought me a vintage belt that he transformed into a headband, and many things happened to his vintage stuff as well, so inspiring. Well, Aaron it's nice to know someone like you, xoxo.D

(Inspired by Gladiator/the movie, He transformed a belt into a quirky so called head band look-a-like helmet)

(It was his regular black Converse, but he transformed into embellished black shoe, Amazing:)

(A head band that actually was a belt. A birthday gift from Aaron, thanks dear, STUNNING:)
