Sao Paulo has been a memorable city for me. I went there for the Sao Paulo Fashion Week, and from then on I got familiar with quirky names like Osklen or even Alexandre Herchcovitch. Beside having fun with them I did having fun with my team, and we took some pics for Bazaar editorial photo shoot.

Alexandre is the model that I won't ever forget, he's so beautiful and he was one of Dolce's campaign model. If you don't believe me on how beautiful he was..well take a look:)

Just like last time I would like to share (again) our work back then on Harper's Bazaar Indonesia. The story behind it was about Indian custom, but all the dresses were from Celine, and all the jewels were from designers Rinaldy A. Yunardi, Sofie, and a quirky label called G.H.O.S.T. It was a a fun photo session, since the models were very delightful and Stanley was superb with his eyes and 1 DS for sure:)

Above is a souvenir from Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter show, and bellow is the front look of my walk in closet, I would say it's not that big but I like it and it fits (for now.)

Bellow: Some of my shoes collection, starting from Top Shop, Pedder Red, Zara, to Celine. I take a good care of my "babies."

These are faux diamond necklaces that I bought in Paris courtesy of my dear friend Y.Hartono, I like it very much because its beautiful.

My Rings collection that inspired by the Olsens, and some of my necklaces collection that I nurture year by year. In between are necklaces from Marc Jacobs, H&M, and random necklaces from India.

Ok, I'm not a big fan of bangles, but I cannot stand if I see unique bangles, I feel like I wanna have'em even I don't know when I'm gonna wear it.

And last but not least is my cabinet of designer bags. I like to keep'em clean so I put them into its dust bag, but sometimes I forget about my bags that I have, so I organize them by put pictures of bags on my cabinet, so it's easier for me to match with my looks.

Beautiful Bally

Switzerland is their home base, and Bally always keep their expertise in making excellent leather goods, including exclusive wardrobes. Bridget Bardot was the inspiration for the previous collection (Fall/Winter 2010) valley of great stitching and comprehensive leather wear was everywhere, and those idea were from a talented creative director called Brian Atwood.

But this season (Spring/Summer 2011) Bally gives us surprise with their new creative directors, not one designer but two, Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz. Aquascutum was their previous gig, but now with Bally they combine Bally Switzerland heritage with modern age, and the result is a beautiful marriage of cool colors, and striking silhouette that caught my eyes at their presentation back then.

Wonder Women

There are two women that always mesmerized me whenever I go to a fashion week trip. None other than Anna Dello Russo and Emanuelle Alt. Those women totally the true epidemic of fashion, and they bring inspirations for blogger around the world including me. Pagoda jacket from Balmain that once become Alt's "uniform" at the first place became trend for several years, and that "on the runway" Anna pull it together perfectly, no wonder she become sweetheart to many designers. Bored never occurred whenever I saw them, and hope to see them again soon...

Anna Dello Russo was wearing red dress by Dolce & Gabbana, and believe me I took this picture right after Bottega Veneta show at 10am in the morning. And not only that, the weather was fraking freezing but still she could manage the look effortlessly.

Above is Anna Dello Russo with her Balmain dress, and I took this picture after D&G show. Rumor has it that Anna always prepare several dresses to attend different fashion shows, even it is on the same day event. Marvelous!!

The queen of Effortless trendy, Madame Emanuelle Alt..Ah, I love her to the bone!!! those Balmain jackets always cover her body perfectly, and it screams perfection. I captured her at Jil Sander (above) and at D&G (below) both in Balmain.

I always wanna do a photo shoot with a touch of baroque within the interior, and finally my dream come true, we (me and Stanley Allan) actually did a photo session in a place somewhere in FX that totally "speaks" French... This spread is one of my lifetime favorite, and I wanna share it with you...

The Always stunning Jean Paul Gaultier Metal necklace that I styled as a suspender, and the everlasting beautiful shoes from Dolce & Gabbana.

From Christian Louboutin to Gucci, those are "killer" shoes. And, Roberto Cavalli never forget his charm, these bracelets speak for him.

Celine never let me down, and this season Celine still gives us an array of wardrobes that screams simple and sophistication. I love Celine's bag collection, it plays with mix colors yet still look stunning on the other hand.

What I love about going to Paris fashion week is the opportunity to enjoy the street of Paris, the landscape, the history, and the shop (of course). One major department store that always make me fall in love is Printemps. Not only they have the best selection of clothing and friends, they also have a very interesting window display as ALWAYSSSS..!!!!

Back then (fashion week S/S 2011) Printemps was collaborating with American designers as the title was "Printemps Loves New York", so then all the windows were full with iconic collection of each designer, and full with American icon such as Superman, Spongebob Squarepants, etc.

In 1977's Annie Hall, Woody Allen's character observes, "photography's interesting 'cuz it's a new art form and a set of aesthetic criteria have not emerged yet".

Though he was just trying to impress some chick and get laid, he was right. 30 years later, what keeps photography fresh and interesting is there are still no rules, and few lines separating amateurs from professionals.

GUP understand that not just good but great photographs come from all over. Issue 26 features "vernacular" photography; found, anonymous photos, collages, and amateur snapshots that question the notions of artistic intent and authorship.

I only stumbled on GUP with Issue 25, their terrific Street Issue, so I'm glad to see that it was no fluke. Being based in Amsterdam gives the small format mag a refreshing perspective; the photographers herein haven't been trotted out and editorialized to death.

GUP stands for "Guide to Unique Photography" but what it also means is a cheap dose of awesomeness every other month.

Ruffeo hearts lil snotty

This label has grabbed me by my non-existent ball-sacs, based on the names they use alone. A spicy pair of technicolour briefs go by: Rainbows Shooting From a Mystical Geoduck. A range of sweatshirts are curiously dubbed: Spagflation. Kelis her-fine-self has donned the Humanize Master Body Suit - a lycra wonderpiece. Oh and a bright yellow harbinger of a hussy smock? F-CK DRESS.

Even the label title begs wonder - Ruffeo Hearts Lil Snotty? This purveyor of pha-shun (another one of their sweetly coined terms) is not just about hilares monikers and chunktastic jumpsuits. All their pieces are designed and sewn by a core team of ‘hearts' in Brooklyn's Red Hook, and the material is stocked from ‘dead' material and manufacturer's waste, where possible. They quip, "We are taking responsibility and we believe consumers will get behind us and share that responsibility, yes, we still want to save the world, thanks mom".

KLÉ “The Aftermath"

KLÉ is a fashion label based in jakarta created by Kleting Titis Wigati, based on wearable edge design and constructive tailored pattern base. This Fall/Winter 2010 KLE presents the distinct translation on post war back in 1940’s – early 1950’s era. Transforming the limitations on expressing fashion in World War II. KLE gets underway the freedom on exploiting warm color, overlap pattern and alluring shades. Reflecting the mood in between darkness and shadowy graphic give the hope of freedom to go out from that gloomy era. It brings the beam of sparks for hopes and life that alters the Fall/Winter collection to have its liberty to flair.

Soft rounded shoudlers, narrow high wais and fabric layering became the influence on creating this season collection. Series of detailed shirt, oversize jackets and accessories declared the freedom to express. Alluring print with bold stroke surely strengthen the statement. Pencil skirts and high waist pants breaks boundaries of the dictate traditional fashion in 1940’s and brings back the feminity and freedom on how world perceived fashion. It is the freedom of richness and luxury that had not been convey since the turn on the World War II.

Man of the month

Boedi Basoeki is not like any man you know. He's got perfect vision since he started his work ages ago in fashion journalism. While another man on their early 20^th just starting to set up the plan, he started to receiving awards from what he's done. Smart, fearless and fashionable, now he is turning into film maker and successfully launched his first semi-documentary movie “Fashion 1 hari”.

How did producing such a fashion movie come to interest you?

Initially, my fellow journalist, Syahmedi Dean (director of the movie), asked me to help him to prepare the production of a semi-documentary movie about fashion journalism. The ideas and visions are very interesting for me, to expose what’s going in the world behind fashion magazine, which I think has a lot of learning point that can be share to a wider audience. Even more interesting, the project involves many other fashion journalists from various fashion magazine, including senior fashion journalist, Samuel Mulia. It is a collaboration project. Although I didn’t have any experience in movie production, it made me believe that I can do the project.

How did you start this project?

It was about a year ago. We sat together, discussing the strategic planning and execution. The storyline needed documentary footages of fashion journalist reporting fashion week in the fashion capital when by chance, I was assigned by my previous company (Harper’s Bazaar) to cover fashion week for spring summer 2010. During the fashion week in London, Milan and Paris, I was also acting as a cameraman to document and collect footage stocks. Later on the director selected the footage and develope the screenplay. After that, we started to look and make connection with internal and external partners who have the same vision to support the project, from casts, crews and donors.

Where does your creativity come from?

Everything I see, I hear and I feel. From magazine, books, movie, music, traveling to Twitter.

In recent years, you work as one of the most well-known fashion editor does it help you on the process of making this movie?

This question make me smile, because I work with Samuel Mulia and Syahmedi Dean who I think are more experienced in fashion and media industry. My experience and network during my professional career also enriched the collaboration project. So, that really help the proccess, from asking casts who are not paid, to convincing partners to support every aspect of the production. Especially L’Occitane who supported us from the beginning or Microsoft Indonesia who allowed their office to be in a mess for shooting background. Sometimes I feel it is not like a working collaboration, it feels like friendship projects.

Fashion 1 satu hari is said to be the first fashion documenter movie in Indonesia film Industry? Are you agreeing with that?

I prefer to call it a first semi-documentary movie about fashion journalism in Indonesia.

How involved is your friends or colleagues in your Fashion 1 Hari movie project?

Like I said before, it feels like a friendship project. All the casts and crews gave their passion and dedication to realize the idea and succeed the project. They spent the time in their busy schedule and dedicate their mind and energy to give the best they can. And it is priceless.

How do you see this project in the general perspective of your work?

As a fashion journalist, I see “Fashion 1 Hari” as a new media to see and to know more about fashion journalism in Indonesia. It can be a good tool to socialize the profession of fashion journalist to general public, especially younger generation, as an alternative profession in occupation world discourse. And it is also an essential element to support the development of fashion industry in Indonesia.

What kind of message you going to share about with the audience?

When I was studying communication in university, about a decade ago, based on what I saw, journalism world was identified with ‘leather jacket’ journalist. Most of my friends or my seniors who majored in Journalism were working in newspapers or televisions, while I was ‘trapped’ in a glossy fashion magazine with no clue of what fashion is all about. However since the first day of work, I’ve really enjoyed it, because there are a lot of beautiful and fragrant things in the fashion world. But on the other hand, it could also trapped and blinded you as a fashion journalist. “Fashion 1 Hari” show the both sides.

Tell us the most fashionable thing ever happened on the process of making this movie?

All the casts with their outfit willing to eat a drop of Nasi Uduk for their breakfast at the first day shooting.

What challenges do you currently face as a new film maker?

I’m flattered that you called me a new film maker because when I was preparing production, it felt like I was preparing to publish a magazine or a book, in a more complicated way. So I still feel that I’m not a film maker, but the project really tickles me to direct a movie.

Are you going to make another movie instead of documenter in your future plan?

Yes, it is still my dream and my future goal.

Where, when, and how people can see Fashion 1 Hari movie?

Kineforum 21, Taman Ismail Marzuki: September 2, 2010 7.30 PM and September 23, 2010: 5.00 PM and it is free of charge.

October 2010: We will do a roadshow to campus for movie screening and we also have a program “Screening by Request” for university students, community or general public who whas an interest on the movie. What do you think about this “Guys expressing yourself through fashion doesn’t mean you have to be less manly”?

It is a good point of view but when expressing your self, the most important thing is not fashion, it’s personality. Fashion should strengthen, not stretch the personality.

Is there any good quote of these words you can share to us---> fashion, man, manly, afraid and confidence

We don’t have to be afraid to be a fashionable man. Being manly is valued by the confidence of a man in making decisions.

As a perfect man from what we have seen so far (happy family, cute baby, professional worker, religious person) How does the fashion influence what you create?

Hahaha, I was laughing when I read your question because I am not a perfect man, it’s only what you’ve seen, especially about religious. I prefer to see my situation as a happy man because I have everything that make me happy.

A new collection by Danjyo-Hiyoji, capturing the well-founded fears of a group of people being persecuted for reasons of race, religion and nationality - REFUGEES. Apart from physical wounds or starvation, this collection is inspired by the large percentage of people that develop symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder or depression. Projecting a variety of victims' emotions, Danjyo-Hiyoji brings this refugee's life story back, living in a new environment and challenging situations.

“The majority of our influences are not related to fashion’ says three of Danjyo-Hiyoji designers Rama Dauhan, Syarifah Liza, and Dana Maulana in the middle of Rated A website launching party in bengkel night park,first week of August’10. “Not everything goes together,’ added Liza, They proved that ready-to-wear can be an art too. “Just put off the accessories then you can wear all those clothes. Describing “refugees” by creating second-hand things like a tin, plate, chain, fan, phone, radio, and more as an dramatic accessories, the team keep stay on their edgy yet androgyny designs. Sandy,pale olive, maroon, light grey, rusty gold flooded on clothes tells the story that those victims don’t feel at ‘home’ anymore.

There's something likable about Cindy when it turn to her make-up skill and concept, always surprised us with something beyond conventional line. Grown up between the United States, Asia and Europe, Cindy shares a different kind of pretty through her hands. Polished, clean but sharp are the explanation of Cindy's works and successfully brought her flying out of country includes Paris fashion shows, weddings, French television and movies,Japanese fashion shoots, and magazine editorials. Obviously after graduated from some of makeup institute such as Institute Technique du Maquillage , Forum makeup, Ecole Internationale de Coiffure in Paris, she easily became apart of the makeup artist team to launch the premier line of Calvin Klein beauty in France and gotten the privilege working as a chep maquilleuse and casting director for one of the shows in the 2010 Spring/Summer 2010 Couture Paris Fashion Week.

1. How to find the right makeup and make it fit with different type of faces?

Well, there are two things that I usually always put into consideration when doing makeup, whether it's for a personal client or myself.

First, you must take a look at your own sense of style and personality, don't try to be something you're not, and when looking at magazines or anything, try to find a reference that matches your face structure. Example, me as an Asian girl with semi round face, I really would not look at a a French magazine and follow their tips and it is best, not to for example, choose hair colour that doesn't suit your skin or ethnicity so the key is to really know your self physically.

Second, I can's stress enough, occasion, and occasion...always put the right look, make-up, clothes, hair, etc for the right OCCASION... don't put a party face to go to the office, and put your best face to go to a gala... it's simple isn't it?:)

2. Which make-up pieces are good for personal everyday uses? Why?

I think in terms of personal everyday use, for my self or even for all active women out there, in my opinions, the most important thing is a base, meaning, good hydration, light foundation, maybe a little concealer, translucent powder, you can even put a primer at the beginning or mix it with your foundation with these items to make your skin more fresh, you can walk out the door looking natural, fresh, and not to made up.

I believe the key to good makeup is clean polished skin... my self not blessed with flawless skin, so I fake it... with the right products to cover your skin's flaws without looking cakey (try Makeup Forever HD foundation or Shu Uemura's Black Compact Powder Foundation.) I Believe that it's better to have a clean polished skin with nothing else on, rather than having a full makeup with bad skin.

3. Brand makeup recommendation?

It really depends on which makeup, I usually mix and match between brands. I do recommend Laura Mercier, Makeup Forever HD line, Nars, Mac, and probably Shu Uemura.

4. The upcoming trend?

I think we will still see the smokey eye messy bedroom eyes kind of look, but I think the choice of colors would be more fun, no more strictly black or grey. I think people will start experimenting with bronze, brown, dark purple as it is Fall/Winter soon. In terms of lips, I think people will start wearing vampy colors, darker, such as scarlet red, deep purple and stuff... but, I think classic look never goes out of style, so we will still see the red lips, winged eyeliner and 50s style

He came from design background, as he has been very interested in the field as long as he can remember. Abi earned his bachelor's degree from Raffles College of Design and Commerce in Sydney back in 2007, focusing mainly in graphic design. He also an illustrator and an artist, and had his work exhibited both in Sydney and Jakarta.

1. What is the meaning behind En Garde Artilleries :

The name "En Garde Artilleries" was conceived back in 2008. "En Garde" alone came first, I found the word very catchy yet still exudes sophistication. Back then in my mind, if someday I'm going to have my own brand, it has to be En Garde. The word itself is French, and a very popular term in the sport of fencing meaning "on your guard". "Artilleries" was added sometime later because I thought "jewelry" has a feminine context. Because my brand and products is directed more towards the male demographic, I replaced the name with something more masculine. However, even though the initial idea was to create a male-oriented brand, I still design them to be unisex.

2. Why did you choose to become accessories designer?

I've always been interested in fashion, because I think it is an ever-changing industry. Back in Sydney if I have spare money I would go shopping, and the first thing I look at was always accessories - necklaces, bracelets and all that jazz. However, sometimes they could be quite expensive. I thought hey, I'm a design student, I can sketch, color and draw - I think I can make them by myself. So when I came home to Jakarta in 2008, I started designing and slowly turn them into reality.

4. What’s this collection all about?

This collection was inspired by the epic wars of the past; from the Christian Crusades, the Hundred Years’ War in France to the Holocaust during the first World War. The name of the collection itself was taken from the book “Hemingway, In Love And War: The Lost Diary of Agnes von Kurowsky” by Henry Serrano Villard and James Nagel, which tells a story about Ernest Hemingway’s experience during World War I.

Classic yet dark and romantic, this first collection of jewelry ‘In Love, and War - Part Une’ found the beauty somewhere inside the morbid and melancholic façade of wars. Everything in this world always have different sides. Like they say “All’s fair in love and war”, there’s always a darker side to every silver linings - and vice versa.

5. Hot item recommendation?

As of now the fast-selling items are the Battle Royal necklace; it's pendant is shaped like two swords dueling each other, and the Vieux Marche necklace that was inspired by the execution of Joan of Arc - it has three pendants hung on different parts of the metal chains, the pendants are a pistol, a skull on a crest, and a rose.

6. Where can we get your stuffs?

As of now people usually contact me directly via email and I'll send them the product by mail. The website and web store are still in progress. They also will be available in some stores in Jakarta very soon.

7. What is the most used material in your collection?

The first collection uses a different kind of metal chains - both thick and thin, acrylic beads and hand-made metal pendants. All made here in Indonesia.

8. Future plan?

In Love and War has two parts, the first part has been released and they have been met with positive response. The second part will be released in a few months and it will include rings and more styles of necklaces. As of now I also have started designing the second collection, experimenting with materials that haven't been used such as leather and wood. Other than that, I'm also working in my little studio to prepare for my first major art exhibition by the end of this year.

9. What do you think about Indonesian fashion industry?

To me, fashion in Indonesia is starting to move to a brighter future. Almost everyone I know have their own brand now, and I hope they have the ambition to go international. To do that, they have to maintain worldwide appeal and really good quality of their products. We are able to do just that, as long as we are serious in this business and not just do this for the sake of everyone else is doing it. You have to really have the passion and love for this industry. Keep pushing the boundaries, keep dreaming big.

After so many hustle and blessing, here I go again..saying hello to my fellow blogger. Here are some footages of my Paris Fashion Week journey, and the show was Dries Van Noten. The place for the show was the most beautiful place I've seen in my life. See for your self...

And hot chocolate became my most important drink back then because the weather so cold and I got cold. So basically I'm addicted to hot chocolate, until now...

I find so many cute place down there, and Colette was one of my favorite. They held a tribute to Yves Saint Laurent on their window display, and there's The Selby that will tell you some bed time story just across the window.

My culinary experience was very interesting as well. Yang often took me to dinner, from the best Korean, African, to to die for Japanese cuisine. I took some snaps from previous Japanese restaurant, and there were many cute stuff including an old picture of Japanese girls.

And it was my very first day of fashion week, and Anthony is the new designer that I went to the presentation of his F/W 2010 collection. Finally I can share my story again from the other continent. It was from Milan Fashion Week, and my first show was Just Cavalli. Corso Italia was the place to be, and chill was the weather that I really hate...!!!!

But, I was so happy so then I almost forgot about the weather, because D3 is my seat number and yes...it's a front row seat:) Not only I got a comfy seat I also got a better view so I could actually saw the fabric closely.

I would like to say thank you very much for your support and Love to our "Fashion Wipe Out." It was an amazing weekend for me personally, and sure it was an amazing weekend for all the fellow tenants as well. They were happy that you blogger and readers WIPE their clothes and shoes.

And, for the first Fashion Wipe Out, some of the money will be a charity for an orphanage house. And hopefully our next "Fashion Wipe Out #2" will be a bright chance to support another house that need it. And I'm thinking of a cancer organization.

The sign "If you love me let me know," was exactly how I always feels. Not just for opposite sex, but also for shoes. I HEART shoes! true, I couldn't notice my "lover" when they don't SAY anything, but when Topshop said so, I grabbed it and now I'm in love with shocking metallic pink shoes from Topshop. Nothing beats that (at least for now!!!) and yet, I'm still looking for my other interest out there, hopefully you'll say I LOVE YOU to me...

For sure I'm hoping for the best for year 2010, but I have to admit that it's been overwhelmed to me. Many important situation becomes daily meal in my head, about work, friends, and et cetera. Yet, GOD always give me sweets by the end of the day. He gave me credits by let me be the runner up of Super Stylista by Tongue in Chic Awards'2010. And more over Pop Meets Pop denim featured me on their blog as their "familia." Those things such an icing on a cake, and I'm honored. Oh yeah, and I'm thrilledddd....that some "Great Fashion People," ask me to be one of their cast on an hour Movie about fashion. Totally can't wait for the reading session. I've been working for fashion magazine for almost 7 years. 2 years as a contributor for Seventeen magazine, and 5 years-and still counting as a fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar Indonesia. It's been my pleasure working as a journalist, and the one that always make me curious is the anxiety for the latest news on Fashion.

I wrote so many stories behind the fashion industry inside and outside Indonesia. But, I'm so proud for Indonesian young and talented designers, or so called up and coming. One label that I think I'm falling' in love with is hiyoji. And last time I purchased one of their fringe top. It does look so wonderful and frankly I would say it's one of my favorite collection.

Today was pretty chaotic, I had a photo shoot with 10 models all in the same time and in the same frame (will publish on our next Harper's Bazaar issue). But, thanks God it turned out GREAT!!! and the photographer behind it was luki for lukimages.

An hour just before the job, we took some pictures together at his studio. And thanks to the amazing props, I played with a rope while luki played with his 1 DS mark III. Quite amusing because turned out the rope was pretty heavy!!!

I were sporting my latest inventions, which were a criss crossed leggings from Danjyo (which is a label from some friends of mine/Dana,Rama,Liza), a stripes sequined from Zara, a random heavy chains necklace, studded leather gloves and ribbon shoes from Topshop.

It was around 8pm and it's time for us to eat some fancy dinner. The place was a French restaurant with a very warm vibe, it has the beautiful view through out the streets of Singapore. The decoration was marvelous and the architecture pretty amazing. I love the paint of the wooden old French wall, the black and white tiles, the golden lining. It was perfect, j'adore...!!!!

And since the food was actually slow food, so we had plenty of time to discover the restaurant. We find some cool places, some edges with Parisian chic flavor. With a help from my lovely friend Adi Surantha, we took some funny pictures. So much fun, because turned out some of our fellas also did the same thing. Well, could't help it! The place Pretty with capital P.

Oh yeah...And I find some cool stuff as well. One of them was a black stallion statue, and I'm so in love with it!!! Totally masculine yet superb with the glossy final touch. Over all the place was remarkable.

Welcome to Singapore for myself, since 2 days ago I went there for another Spring/Summer 2010 press presentation of Louis Vuitton. It's a short trip but I think it was one of the most unforgettable trip. It started with a trip to Muzium Alam Peranakan, It was amazing seeing all the vintage collection of the ancient bridal property. Those fascinating old stuff could lead me to multiple inspirations, you could see for yourself...

The off white colored building totally blew me away. The colonial touch absolutely off the hook.

Frankly, I like talking about Christopher Kane and his works for Topshop, even though the euphoria already happened around months ago. Many people crazy about the collection, and some of them willing to wait for hours just to have one of Kane's latest conquest. Crocodile was his inspiration for now, since the King Kong was being iconic and gave him a round big applause.

But then the famous crocs become a high demand consumerism, and technically many people wore it as their "stylish uniform" you can see lots of people wear it during the London Fashion Week. Well...anyway, who's to blame? those croco totally legit and really boosting our appetite to just consume again and again. Trust me, it happen to me.

Wooaaaaa!!! Seems like nothing impossible in this world!!! It's just like de ja vu, when 2 years ago I grabbed a piece of calendar which was a souvenir from Dolce & Gabbana head quarter in Milan. There was a beautiful man with a beautiful body that represents the Dolce & Gabbana underwear. But, then again I saw him before at the Light Blue campaign.

Turn out he's David Gandy, and he's modeling for Dolce & Gabbana for some years. And it's just like (can't explain) that seems so funny that once I saw him over a calendar, and now I had a chance to actually interviewed him eye to eye.

Well, I'm not a liar...i admitted that he was drop dead gorgeous, and you can tell from the hair that he's actually a simple man with an attitude!

This is not another assistant story like in the movie Devil Wears Prada. This is a story of a girl who is obsessed with her passion in fashion and succeed in it. She’s one of my colleagues in this industry that I have a big respect for her dedication and her hard work. First time I met Dewi Utari was during a cocktail show in Mulia Hotel, Senayan. Prior to that, I had only read her name in Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia as the Stylist Assistant, assisting the Head Stylist of Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia, Michael Pondaag.

Starting her career in Seventeen Magazine Indonesia, it has led her to make some of her dreams come true. Now she is a Fashion Editor in Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia, an owner of a little chic store, a renowned Indonesian Fashion Blogger and also a regular Guest Radio Announcer. In her little chic store, we talked like there’s no tomorrow. She’s a fun straight energetic person that focus to her goals and dreams.

When did the first time you get into the fashion industry?
About 6 years ago, around 2003.

Have you ever dreamed about working in fashion media before? What made you decide to work in fashion media?
Nope, not a clue. At first, I didn’t expect to work in media. All I wanted was to be a fashion designer, because I love fashion. But I didn’t have any background in fashion, so I was trying to be as close to the industry as possible, and one of the ways was being in a fashion magazine.

How long have you been working in Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia? And could you tell us about your career path since you’ve been there?
It’s been almost four and a half years. I started as a stylist assistant for my mentor, Michael Pondaag. I worked as his loyal assistant for about 2,5 years. It was quite a long time for an assistant, but during those 2,5 years I have learned MANY THINGS from a good man. Now in my 4,5 years, I am trusted as a Fashion Editor. And from my previous experiences now, I’m able to do my own editorial shoot. The most exciting part is to experience a photo shoot in Tunisia, Sao Paulo, and Milan with me as the stylist. It’s quite an achievement for a girl that started as an assistant. *smiling*

What does it feel like to be working in one of most prestigious fashion magazines like Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia?
Speechless!!!

Who is your role model in fashion that influence your style and your works? And what 3 words that perfectly describe your style?
My role model is my mentor Michael Pondaag, and Emmanuelle Alt from Vogue Paris.
Three words about me: Fearless, youthful, whatever.

Tell us about your best and worst fashion moments that is unforgettable?
My best fashion moment was actually some couple of months ago at the Milan Fashion Week. Actually it was at the C’nC Costume National fashion show. I wore this 50’s chic ensembles, and turned out as I got off from my taxi and walked through the pavement, all the fashion paparazzi shouted at me and asked me to stop, and all of the sudden, all the blitz were pointing at me, and I felt like a celebrity for a second! *laughing*
My worst was at Versace Fashion show a year ago. I shopped a lot, and I carried like these 3 big plastic bags. Since the show was very elegant, I definitely couldn’t bring those 3 big bags just like that, so I wore 3 or 4 jackets at a time, and there I went around looking like a King Kong!!! *laughing*

Being a stylist nowadays is quite a favorite choice for youngster since it looks glamorous and fun, any comments?
It is FUN! But for sure it’s NOT GLAMOROUS at all! Well, as a stylist you have to be able to do some “dirty job”, which include running errands searching for dresses all over the city, etc. It’s the end result on the glossy paper that makes it looks glamorous.

What’s the hardest part of being fashion stylist/editor?
The hardest part is when you ran out of ideas! Doom!

What do you think of Indonesian fashion these days?
“Walking” to a good path! and I’m waiting until it’s “Running!”

Who is your most favorite designer, both local and international? And why?
International: Alexander Wang because he’s such a breakthrough!!
Local: Random young designer! I like to wear new stuffs from random young designer because they have the freshest ideas and very fulfilling! My latest shopping notes was at the graduation of one International fashion school in Jakarta! No doubt! It’s one of my favorite shopping moments if I may say.

What is your most favourite trend for now?
Grunge!

You’re also the owner of a cute fashion shop named mi-casa-su-casa. Happy 1st anniversary to your shop by the way . Why does it called “mi-casa-su-casa”, any fashion philosophy with the name?
mi-casa-su-casa means “my house is your house” in Italian. All the stuff in my shop was actually a RANDOM FIESTA! Many people have contributed for the shop, and most of are the people who have the love for traveling. That’s why most of my dresses and stuffs are from Los Angeles, London, and New York. But we do have local stuffs, and they’re fascinating! So come and shop! *laughing*

Why did you decide to open that shop?
It’s one of my dreams! And for sure I need to fulfill it before I get old!

Any specific style that you applied into the store? What’s your current best seller items in it?
Very chic Parisian atmosphere! My best seller is a pen that look likes a lipstick from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Any fashion addiction? And what things are you craving for yourself now?
I am addicted to sunglasses. And now I’m craving for a vintage Lanvin sunglasses.

You’re also an announcer in Trax fm, another passion of yours or just for fun? Tell us about it!
It’s actually my old time passion! Once I tried to be an announcer, but my destiny didn’t take me there. But now, as I work as a Fashion Editor, so they invite me to be their guest announcer. It’s a dream come true! *smiling*

And again you’re also a blogger, do you have any special goal or purpose with your blog or it’s just a mini chic diary of yours?
*Laughing* No serious goal. Just having fun with myself *laughing again*

What do you think of this fashion blog phenomenon in Indonesia?
Pretty crazy! but it’s fascinating though!

Well, this past week such an amazing week for me...since I got a chance for a getaway to Singapore for some fashion events.
One that I thought was the coolest was the party of Dolce & Gabbana. It was a store opening at Ion, Singapore, and then a late night party with a DJ from London. It was such a breathtaking and I adore all the Italians! And guess what??? The beautiful David Gandy was in the house!!!! And many thanks to my lovely quirky fellah, Karin Wijaya as my photographer.

Earthquake..!!!!
Today is Friday, 16 October 2009. And the dress code for now is touch of Pink. Instead of my sea of Black ensembles, I wore 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket in Pink to the office. There was a drama happening today, which was a small earthquake. Thanks God I didn't feel anything because I was standing in front of the street waiting for a cab with my fellow photographer. I did feeling worry this afternoon, but I'm pretty happy to score the day with my new Missoni shawl (a lovely wedding gift,) my humongous 3D heart shape ring, and a pair of Christian Dior Monsieur vintage sunnies that I bought from a store in Oberoi, Bali. It actually sum up the rest of the day without any doubt, yet Thanks God It's Friday.

GREAT PARTY INDEED...!!! It was my hell of a S**T crazy Bachelorette party!! Pardon for my lawzy yet "edgy" makeup made by each of my beloved pals, and the black ensembles inspired by SS 2010 Alexander Wang thanks to them.
When the night was young...we cracked De Hooi with our giggles and laughter, we dance...dance...dance....till the night *still young* It was M.I.A, Radiohead, Blur, and bunch of British band played on the speaker and we sang along....sang along until we finished our voices...we laugh....laugh...laugh...like there's no tomorrow...and we love....love....love each other like nobody else on this planet....I love you guys, and thanks for the fabulous night *ever* in my life.

For the past week, I had a joyful trip to Bandung in order to fulfill our editorial needs. We went there with lots of important list to do. Not much to say, except that Bandung was giving me inspiration, I find lots of creativity yet positive energy, and I thankful for that. I'm not that good with makeup. All I know is eye liner. I like and I want to be able to do my own smokey thingy. But, it never happened. Never succeed in the history of my rookie makeup story. But last Saturday was my BFF's wedding party and I tried random smokey thingy. Not a complete Betty, but I think it's ok..

Today was pretty lay low... just sit back and typed some exciting articles for August Harper's Bazaar edition. So then again, I didn't do much effort on my look. Only a pair of Cheap Monday skinny, a Forever 21 jumper, a pair of Marc Jacobs flats, a headband from Prada, a pair of eye-glasses from Dior Homme, and of course my lovely vintage rings as well as my vintage Citizen watch.

And, OK...some frames are pretty goofy, but yet...it was a beautiful day;D

Rock 'n Roll with a twist of simplicity is actually the meaning of a leather biker jacket.

By the shape itself you can tell some crazy things about it.
First: It's actually timeless (move over tweed Chanel jacket)
Second: You don't have to layered it with many stuff, just a pair of singlet and skinny equal a great total look.
Third: They won't help it!!!! They will stare at your jacket the more you accessorized it with studs!!!
