ULTIMATE INSPIRATION # 2

PART 2:
Speaking of inspiration, my hair style changes a lot over the years, and basically inspired by the one that I adore (at that time). And because I'm pretty deluded, I often change my hair style in order to follow my inspiration. Here are some transformations of my deluded hair style.

This cut was pretty extreme, because I chopped my long hair just like that in order to have the same look like Selma. But it survived only for 2 months, and after that I did hair extension. Why? because after all I'm not that confident with this kind of hair. (PS: look!! can you see my braces???)

Actually I have certain kind of affair with "bangs." I just love to have bangs, that's why I could not get bored with it. And hair style like Anna was pretty fascinating, and sure I enjoyed my time with Anna's bob style.

Back then, I curled my hair only for Regina's wedding party, but I like how it looks. And maybe I will try this kinda hair sometimes in the future.

ULTIMATE INSPIRATION # 1

Geezzzz,,,,,finally,,,,!!!! I put my hands (again!) on my dodgy powerbook and trying to figure out that actually my life is full of de ja vu. Why? because as far as I remember, 60% of my style inspired by some of my favorite people. Here are some refreshment from my lifetime memorabilia. Enjoy!!!

OUTBACK STYLE REPORT

Prolog: Please enjoy the Australian Fashion Week report from my contributor in Australia (Dinta Jakile)

ROSEMOUNT AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK ’09 WRAP

DAY ONE

Sydney based designer Duo described their inspiration for this collection as sex, strength, and skin. Black dresses with zippers, relaxed silver knits, and bold shouldered jackets are the highlights for this year opening show.

Day TWO

Dion Lee is a fresh talent in Australia fashion industry who does a debut show for the second day of Rosemount fashion week. The show takes place at Kings Cross car park and it’s an opening show for the day. His collection inspired by construction of clothing and tailoring, featuring functional detailing. He took two months to work on his Spring/Summer 2009 collection because he does the entire pattern and design by him. It was one of the most hyped shows at Rosemount fashion week.

DEWIUTARI LOVE IT...!!!

Day THREE

Mid-week show by Melbourne based designer TV. Their collection inspired by military look. The spotlights for TV Spring/Summer’09 Collection kaleidoscope printed jumpsuits, hand knitted dress, and perforated kaftan. Their colour palettes for this season more earthy such as khaki, rust, and cream.

Day FOUR

Romance was Born show presented a semi theatrical show at the Sydney Theatre. It was stunningly beautiful; they brought us to the magical qualities of the sea. Beautiful underwater props were used; lots of greenery decorating the backdrop of under the sea show, as well as the bubbles makes this show perfect. With beautifully made up like mermaid models, beading, and pearls. Although, Luke Sales and Anna Plunket never forget their true aesthetic such as pom poms, colours, crochet, and eccentric styling.

Day FIVE

After four days of shows and viewing, here come the last day of Rosemount Australia fashion week with the debuted shows by The Cassette Society and Fernando Frisoni. Both of the shows were awesome; had their signature styles. The Cassette Society cyber-inspired collection was dance down the runway with the sound from 80s hits songs. While Fernando Frisoni introduced his first women’s collection with grey, white, and blacks as his main colour palettes. He presented simple and cute looks for future fashionista.

SOME COOL PEOPLE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STANLEY

I'm so sorry for the delay...Yes..I've been busy last week, so I guess I deserve a leisure at the end of the week. As the result, It was a brunch party at Social House celebrating our good photographer fellah Stanley Allan's birthday. Around 10 people were there and we sure had a good time with "Hampton hotties" as the dress code.
